My great friend, director of photography, and avid sportsman, Jim Larer has been telling me about the outfitter Cabela's for some time. We recently took a road trip to one of their flagship stores in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, which resembles the Museum of Natural History more than a retail store. They carry Filson, Woolrich, Carhartt, Danner, as well as their own line. There's been a lot of debate and discussion lately about the fashion element of clothing versus the function and authenticity. Well, Cabela's is definitely the truth. No disrespect to Freeman's but I think it's kind of dope to be able to buy an AR-15 and a flannel in the same place. Above are my Cabela's picks, which are all available online...
