The Wackness DVD & Blu-Ray

TheWacknessDVDBluRay

Without the wackness there is no dopeness... My man Ross Levine who produces my music videos was one of the producers on this one. He also has a cameo. His brother Jonathan Levine wrote and directed. He's our generation's Woody Allen. Don't sleep... DVD and Blu-ray out this week...

plus my Pops did the original score....(shameless plugin')

Addendum... Don't sleep on the beautiful score by my boy Elijah's father David Torn, who also scored Lars and the Real Girls, as well as many other films. Elijah is also an amazing music producer in his own right. Check him out at...

thanks for the shout Mr. Davis...keep the good styles on the good blog coming.

also check out my Dad's score for Lars and the Real Girl...real pretty number.

Saw the film for the first time recently. Jonathan Levine came to set of my recent The Hold Steady video and he mentioned he was having dinner with David Torn that night. Mutual respect. We were talking about the films he's scored. I love his work on Traffic. Possibly my favorite score of all time. And Friday Night Lights is really beautiful.

Jonathan recommended Lars and the Real Girls as a major highlight. Great film and score.

Moral of the story... It's a very small world... And don't sleep on Splattercell either...

I always knew there was a reason I was jealous of kids who got to be teenagers in NYC in the '90s....
