Toyan at the Volcano HQ photographed by Beth Lesser
Used to dig in the crates, then hunt for sneakers, now shades... This pair is wicked and would love to know what, where and how much? I'm putting the challenge out to anyone that knows who makes these and where to pick them up online or in person.
My people at Silver Lining Opticians who supply those incredibly hard to find pieces might be able to help. Jordan Silver is a vintage eyewear purveyor and is sick with it when it comes to sunglass knowledge. Check out their store in Soho or online if you're not in the Manhattan area. And respect to anyone that might be able to drop some science...
Rock some Moscot's who have a very similar frame in the classic range. Have them put in some tinted lens for you. Done.

Agree with CW, the style's called Miltzen, though the frames are a bit smaller.
Ralph Lauren do a round tortoiseshell pair almost identical to the one's in the pic. I saw them in Harvey Nichols in London yesterday but I'm sure you could get them in SoHo or on Madison.

i bought an eerily similar pair in SoHo from a lovely old Korean lady selling them on the sidewalk (presumably) factory-direct. I remember she had a pair in medium brown (i went with a dark tortoise) a la Toyan's. They're def bigger than the UO ones and probably all Mitzen-esque frames. Haven't had the chance to size them up to the Ralph ones which I'm sure are of higher quality. But I'd say these were well worth the 10 buck investment.
And, if you'd like some visual confirmation, i threw a quick pick of mine up after being inspired by your post. If only i could be so gangsta in my stunnas. Matching rings and medallions. Wow.

Thanks for the shout out Jake. We definitely have a lot of similar styles. Anglo American makes colorful versions. Ralph Lauren made leather ones, and I've got various others! Come visit, www.silverliningopticians.com

These days UGG boots have become trend footwear. Manufactured up of 100% sheepskin, these boots maintain your toes snug and dry. They became well-known specifically throughout Earth Wars. Aviators for keeping their feet warm utilized them. Throughout 1960s Australian surfers had been also seen putting on these boots for warming their ft after riding waves. The Australians also applied to wear them in home in the course of mild winters. Nonetheless, now Uggs are a craze all over the planet, and has proved to be a hit in both heat and cold countries alike.
