I've mentioned it here before, when I like something I don't own one or two or three of it. I tend to collect an embarrassing amount of it from white tennis shoes to shawl collar cardigans. The M-65 military jacket is no exception as it was the first style of outerwear I started really obsessing over as a youth. From Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver to Clarence Worley in True Romance it's been a weapon of choice for many classic anti-heros.
This is one of those pieces that Iooks just as good on the guys as the girls. Remember Alex Owens from Flashdance rocked that shit hard and sexy. I think the jacket's roots in utilitarian military make it look so amazing on a woman. Giving her just the right amount of edge. So if she has one hanging in her closet, you know she's dope as shit. Just don't let her steal yours...

Jake- I've been following your blog for a minute now. I don't think I've ever commented (not that I've never been compelled to, I just don't comment like that) but, I've seen your blog, it's content and your writing evolve steadily over time and at this point I'm really starting to enjoy your blog- thoroughly. 'Preciate that, boss.

Im going to go out on a limb and say in my experience - looks better on women !
Why? Because you expect it to look ok on a man. It can't really go wrong but women, they need to pull it off and generally when attempted - do.
Good post sir

In general, do men find it attractive when women wear classic men's clothes sometimes? What about all the time? Is it just the novelty that spurs attraction?

I love it when women dress with a maculine edge. Of course like anything it has to be done right.

Keep the good stuff coming, your views and posts are refreshing, especially to an Aussie.
