I saw in the comments section the other day that you guys want more clothes. But to be honest clothing has been the furthest thing from my mind lately. I guess you could say I've been on a bloodbuzz. Even though this is technically a style blog it's always been a personal blog disguised as something else with layers of information and metaphors. All you really have to do is read between the lines...
Regardless sometimes you have to give the people what they want. I don't know about you but sometimes there's nothing better than a little bit of retail therapy to snap you out of a funk. I had been looking for an alternative to what everyone has had on their feet lately... I love my Wings but we blew them up last year and they're everywhere now. So I picked up a pair of vintage Justin's... Beaten, bruised and beautiful... Take a closer look for a great alternative...

Yeah man packer boots are awesome. You know those kilties are supposed to help them shed rainwater? Don't know exactly how it's supposed to work, but that's what they're for.

justin's as in justin cowboy boots? they're very much an original, made in the USA since the 1890's or so. They were one of "the brands" of cowboy boots up through the late 90's, you could see many of the country sensations of the time (including Garth, Allan, etc) wearing them on stage. The brand has been through many generations, splitting and eventually buying itself back in the early 80's, even merging with ACME in the late 60's to expand into construction.
for more info, read this:

the company's got a lot of great history. Justin is one of my favorite companies, I grew up wearing them, and their product absolutely deserves the name it's built for itself.

I got some Red Wing wabashas this winter. I wasnt happy with them at all. They couldnt handle any snow before getting ruined completely. I had to sell them cheap on ebay actually. So never again Red Wing. Hope Justin's is better.

Jake,
I just recently stumbled across an almost identical boot in silhouette minus the kiltie, but with some great western stitching on the toe. Get this, the have a Red Wing-like white crepe sole! Definitely my new beaters for the fall. A post and pictures to come at wilmayMAKESHIFT.com

Ugg boots typically has a unique glimpse from other kinds of boots. It is in fact this distinctive glimpse that makes it stand out inside the crowd. The expression ugg is truly the shot for ugly. Thus ugg boot in simple fact meant unsightly boot. But these days these boots are no longer deemed as unpleasant, they are moreover thought of as one with the most fashionable and snug footwear from the style industry. Just imagine walking miles on an undulated terrain in a pair of higher heels! What would be the result?

It actually comes out of the bags with a dirty look to it. I like to rough my shoes by myself, but still, it's pretty neat! These Justin shoes sales will probably jump off the roof
