Jake Davis Test Shots: Brendon Babenzien

If you don't know who this guy is it's because he doesn't want you to know, which in this age of mass media is harder work for him than being known. Big brother, best friend, and the most talented designer I know, Brendon Babenzien is one of the main reasons you come here. Although he'll be the first person to tell you he's not a designer. Call him whatever you like, he's the guy that designs what's in your closet years before you want it. I've seen his concepts, thoughts, and designs go from the margins to the mainstream in the last decade. As ubiquitous as the word "cool" has become... That's what Brendon does. He makes things cool and makes cool things. It's that simple.

Noah, Aprix, Supreme, and now K-Swiss, everything Brendon designs I love. I hope I was able to capture his essence in his Test Shot. I don't know much about fashion but I know a thing or two about style and Brendon has a lot to do with that. Here are his words on his latest design collaboration with K-Swiss, "it's not very often I get to work on clothing that is directly related to sport. I saw this as an opportunity to work with a great sports company but hopefully add a fresh point of view."
