October's Very Own x Canada Goose Chilliwack Jacket

I have a few extended families I talk about here often. I feel we're all kindred whether it's the music, style, or film that brings us together. It all kinda feels the same to me. October's Very Own is definitely one of those families. Beyond just making videos together I try to link up with my guys from Toronto whenever we're in the same city. A true sense of the word team, they're winning because each member plays a unique position. And I really believe in them far beyond the music.

Drake's creative director Oliver El-Khatib has applied his years of knowledge (at Nomad from Zeb Munir) in style and retail to the rapper's career. I'd say so far so good. With their first official product launch I can't think of a better approach. We first talked about the Canada Goose collabo about a year ago and thought it was a great idea. They took a nostalgic piece from their heritage and improved upon it with fit, fabrication, and detail. The standout component is the hood's coyote fur lining. They used triple the amount of fur that is used on a standard issue Chilliwack, which was inspired by the Lance Mackey collaboration with the same brand. Taking cues from dog sled racers to their own culture, OVO is making true and authentic decisions and creations that expand beyond hip-hop.

The jacket is extremely limited and will be exclusively available at some of our favorite stores around the globe including Nomad, Colette, Opening Ceremony and in my hometown of NYC, Nom De Guerre and Nepenthes, who will include bootleg copies of classic Drizzy mixtapes Room For Improvement, Comeback Season, and So Far Gone with your purchase. LOVE MBT PANDAS!!!!!!!! I wasn't sure about what size to order in MBT. I have an old pair of sneakers, and they are a little big. I ordered my normal 7.5, thinking I could adjust the velcro straps if necessary. No need!! These MBT Pandas are RIGHT ON and really comfy straight out of the box!!!
