Remember Mya in the "Best of Me" video with Jay-Z?... Yeah me too. I love seeing a woman style traditional men's athletic wear in her own way. And well Sibylla knows just how to rock it. Obviously Brendon Babenzien had men in mind when designing the vintage inspired California Running collection for K-Swiss but that doesn't mean women can't enjoy it as well.

Last week the line was introduced at Partners & Spade in New York City. If you're lucky they might still have a few pieces left. To commemorate the launch some light NYC park running from the incredibly beautiful Sibylla Deen. And remember kids... "Stay off the fucking flowers..." For your daily inspiration nothing left to say but... Sibylla Deen...

Jake Davis Test Shots: Mariana Dantec

 

In celebration of the launch of K-Swiss California Running by Brendon Babenzien this summer we wanted to create a special Test Shot that really spoke to the essence of the collection. A natural beauty running on the beach a la Bo Derek in 10 was a great starting point from Ryan. When I met Mariana the vision really came together. She's truly something special. Classic clothing on a classic beauty always works.

Look for the collection exclusively at Union Los Angeles and Partners & Spade in New York City. And for those that can't get to the beach today... At least you have some inspiration from the incredibly stunning Mariana Dantec. You're very welcome...

Heavy Rotation: Cults "Cults"

I think once the warm weather approaches it's much harder for men than women to look stylish. A lot of us just resort to t-shirts and jeans. It's refreshing to see a man get dressed up in the heat and still look cool. There are so many interesting subtleties in Brandon's outfit from the pocket square to the twist tie cuff links.

I'm headed down to Billy Reid's Shindig in The Shoals, Alabama to direct some films this weekend so I thought it'd be fitting to share this Test Shot with all of you. Brandon's not only wearing the K-Swiss x Billy Reid canvas sneakers (but he's Billy's made-to-measure guy) so needless to say, he's also wearing a lot of Billy Reid.
