One off the bucket list... A few years back I told myself when GQ calls for a 10 Essentials I'll have made it. Haha... Still ways to go but this is pretty, pretty, pretty good. Last year around this time OVO released their collaboration with Canada Goose in the form of the Chilliwack jacket. An incredible piece that kept me warm on set even in the snow. This time it's an extremely high quality and well designed varsity jacket with another Canadian heritage company Roots. There have been some incredible varsity jacket offerings this season, including my personal favorites from Supreme and Unis. Will Welch of GQ even highlighted his top choices.

Angelo put me on back in the early part of the summer. He said lil homie is gonna crush. As a real fan of hip-hop, it's good to see something truly exciting and youthful come out of New York City. We've respectively been letting Toronto run away with the throne. After seeing ASAP's potential in his live show a few weeks ago and now with the release of LiveLoveA$AP he has our full attention.
For the most part New Yorkers are jaded, highly critical, and we have a tendency not to support our own. It's funny how that happens but we have to work for everything here, so we make our artists work for it too. That line about, "if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere" is kinda true. But during that interim period where are an artist is either gonna blow or not they need to treat their city like some shoulder pads. And New York should stand up and support. I've been friends with Eunice for a while now. It's amazing to finally add her to our client roster among the likes of Nike, Supreme, New Balance, Converse, K-Swiss, Woolrich, Billy Reid, Gilt MANual, Park & Bond, and Union Los Angeles. We've tried to only work with brands and the people behind those brands we respect and love.
This is definitely one small step in the right direction. Expect a whole lot more from the Queen of Menswear, Eunice Lee as she tailors up the cool downtown kid in her classic chinos, suiting, and outerwear.
