Supreme designed a Loro Piana wool overcoat with Bemberg lining this season. That statement alone should tell you enough but in case it doesn't I'll explain. The rebel, the punk rocker, the antagonist... We don't want to be labeled, we don't want to be told what to do, and we definitely don't care if you understand us. To try to comprehend the phenomenon that is Supreme is like trying to fit a round peg into a square hole.

At its core Supreme is a youth skate brand but they understand a generation of people that grew up wearing it and they also make incredible products for their older clientele. As Supreme reaches its tipping point of critical mass; as long as they continue to make cutting edge and fashion forward products with an attainable and youthful approach I will forever be a fan and customer.

While most are catching up Supreme is on to the next either through textile, fabrication, or style. Their calculated risks aren't just commendable but they're the reason I continue to love the brand. They leave just enough room and simplicity in the design to rock it the way you want to rock it.

I love the way Supreme has tweaked some of their classic staples and ventured into a few new territories. My top personal favorites (all pictured above) include the Cairo print sweats, washed black jeans, and African windbreaker among others. Again it's the subtle details that separate Supreme from the rest. The online shop re-opens Thursday, August 30th with the incredible Fall/Winter 2012 collection.
