The climate's changing like the weather and maybe that's why I've become inspired by clothing again lately. The biggest trend I've seen this season by far in the streets of SoHo is shorts over running tights for men. It's a really interesting silhouette and a fashion that serves utility. The much bigger story is how athletic wear and traditional menswear now play together in the cold months in NYC.
Sometimes I'll go for a run in the morning and not have time to change before my first meeting or shoot. I love the way these pieces can interact with each other in an active lifestyle. Whether it's using a towel as a scarf or waterproof cashmere on a rainy run... It all somehow makes sense in my city...

This is a great idea! For some of us love to insert a little fitness routine in our busy lives. I guess this ensemble would help a lot in balancing life and work. I love the sophisticated coat!

As a year round Nikehead runner, I feel like I owe you a drink or a home cooked meal for linking me to the USATF website. Tack sa mycket.

Thank you for sharing this post. I found it very informative and interesting. I am trying to insert some more fitness and exercise into my daily routine. I am just so busy at work it is often difficult to find the time. I am going to start running in the morning and see how I feel.

I am doing bike to work vice versa and helps me to be fit and save on money. If its a little closer, I'll go for run to work. But, whatever it is that you choose, you are inversting in your health.
